The Olive tree odyssey

This flagship product is available in various forms: olive oil from region's best lands, Picholine or Lucques olives for eating, as well as organic olive oil-based cosmetic products. You will find them all at the Oulibo, the most visited olive oil cellar in France, in Bize Minervois! This cooperative also organises treasure hunts, tasting workshops and an on-site visit to better understand the history of the olive! You can challenge yourself by making your own tapenade!

Let yourself be enchanted by the world of truffles, found under the mycorrhizal oaks of Le Mas d'Antonin. Come and search for this "fruit of the earth" to decipher its secrets (by appointment only) while spending a memorable moment with the farm's owners, Elena and her husband. A visit to their site, located in Argeliers, is also a chance to discover the subtleties and benefits of another of their products, namely olive oil. Get ready for some tasting and awaken those senses! Drop by the domain's store; it's unlikely you'll leave empty-handed...!

Fancy a special vinegar for oysters? Perhaps some honey vinegar from Narbonne? You'll find what you're looking for at La Granhota, France's biggest craft vinegar factory, located in Coursan. Master vinegar maker Laurent Faure makes all his wine vinegars in keeping with tradition. Patience and real know-how! You'll be amazed by the variety of products on offer: balsamic vinegars, wine vinegars, condiments, peppers, there's something for everyone!

Chocolate

Dark gold

Does anyone not like chocolate...!? White, milk, dark... You will melt with pleasure just tasting it. In Montredon-des-Corbières, you will find a wide range of these delicacies. Step through the door of the Cathar Chocolate Makers and enter chocolate paradise! You can enjoy a son et lumière visit (where you will discover the workshop in operation, in the presence of the master chocolate maker and his insights on the cocoa beans), followed by a mandatory tasting session. In the store, you will find a large assortment of cookies, pralines, nougatines and other treats to delight the palate! And if you're fond of caramels, you're in luck...!

In the mood for a sweet snack or breakfast? Opt for honey, a real natural sweetener, just as two Michelin-starred chef Lionel Giraud does! Try cold-extracted rosemary, chestnut or garrigue honey, gingerbread with figs or honey vinegar. Don't hesitate to try the range of cosmetics made with honey and propolis. Meet the Pyrenean donkeys

Vitamin-rich donkey's milk, the properties of which are recognised in cosmetics, has been known since antiquity. Come and discover donkey milk at the Asinerie du Rivage in Coursan with a free guided tour of the farm. Taste the farm's donkey milk and discover its range of cosmetic products (body lotions, face and hand creams, shampoos, shower gels, and many others) made following its transformation, without any chemicals. A truly original experience. You will also find honey at their store. And if you're really lucky, you might get to see a birth!

In a preserved setting, you can even enjoy a pleasant ride in the little train or the horse-drawn carriage. And, on the way, you get to learn about salt production. Meanwhile, in the store, you will find all sorts of flavoured salts and local products to take away with you! The site is particularly breathtaking on sunny days when its unique tones and hues.
