OLIVETTE DE LANGEL ET JARDIN

Jardin de Langel is an association of environmental education and cultural events. The park, where visits and activities are organized, is a typical example of the gardens of the former wine estates of the 19th century. Designed at the same time as the park of Château d'Armissan, it covers an area of ​​5.000m². The park has preserved the plants and trees of this time. Its rockery is part of the tradition of so-called "natural" gardens. Nature is present through different plant species: oak-green, arbutus. His water stock is abundant: well, basin, wash and noria testify to an ingenious hydraulic system that is partly in operation, despite a progressive depletion of the source feeding them. Today the association of the Garden of Langel strives to enhance the park, offering tours, educational interventions and cultural events.
